A while back my friend Fiona Hermansson asked me to come and photograph some of the customers for a shop she was working with. The shop on the Portobello Road is an Aladdin’s cave with clothes from some of the most exciting figures in the fashion world. Their customers and friends are encouraged to drop in and hang out and the brief for the shoot? Studio 54 meets back stage at the Theater. My take on it was to create 5 characters to represent the shop Check out their website for more info about the shop and their ideology.

Press shoot for Alen Seed /
At the end of last year I had the pleasure of photographing Alen Seed for a future single cover and press. The idea of the shoot (over 2 days) was to build up a set of photographs, the first day was on the streets of Central London and a second day with a studio set up. I will put up more images as they are released.

Avi Lasarow /
When asked if I would like to push a business man into a swimming pool I jumped at the chance. So often I find business people wary of any photography which doesn’t show them po-faced. Avi is unique both in his business acumen and his willingness to literally throw himself into a photoshoot, above are a few results from the shoot.

Spectrum portraits /
I mentioned previously I had been working on portraits for the charity Spectrum. The site has now been published and more exciting additions will be online soon. Above is just a selection of the 36 portraits I did for them. Please click through to the charities site to find out about the important work they do. This project has involved many great creative people including Art & Graft, (who worked with Everywhere and Collective Approach).
I have also made a little film about some of Spectrum’s work with Tom Collinson, Jamie Turner on camera, Jason Read on the Edit and John Brown on credits. Coming soon.

The entrancing Bill Holland /
One day early last month I spent an hour or two shooting Bill in and around his home in Fulham West London, our conversation brushed past religion and politics along its way to Eurovision and the Olympics. Check out what he has to say on his new blog (the Opinions of Bill are his own and in no way represent the thoughts and feelings of this blog).
